1862 Wood Engraving Victorian Dress Marine Jacket Trimming Godey's Fashion YGLB1 XGFA3 Political LandmarksThis is an original 1862 hand tinted color in text wood engraving of a Victorian Marine jacket for women. The dress and jacket are of dark poplin, trimmed with black and red braid. The close fitted jacket is open toward the bottom and it has a wide collar scalloped with trim at the edges. The open sleeves are trimmed in a similar manner. The skirt has four rows of braiding also in a scalloped pattern. The whole outfit is pulled together with a long
