Zilveren strooilepel, J.J. Dreux, Rotterdam, 1750 IGZ The vase has a filledSilver sprinkling spoon with an openwork sawn bowl, made by silversmith Jacobus Johannes Dreux from Rotterdam. He worked from 1740 to 1788. This silversmith originally came from Arnhem. The spoon is hallmarked with the master's mark ID in a shield, the city hallmark of Rotterdam, the date letter Q for 1750 and the first grade hallmark. The end of the spoon is the so called 'pied de biche'. The spoon is in excellent condition and is exceptionally large
